E. Gutzeit signed............water-colour.........the artist herself wrote by hand the name of the picture on to the backside: View over Suderode...........Juli 1957.........23.5x34cm........Edith Gutzeit, a wellknown artist with over 300 paintings in more than 80 years.........Born on 25.5.1900 in Pasewalk, Pommern did she die on 28.9.1995 in Kiel........After her studies from 1919-1927 in Berlin, she met and worked together with famous artists like Werner Gothein, Ernst Ludwig Richter, und J. Walter Kurau, what easily can be seen by overviewing her works....Consequently she had a lot of vernissages and got many prizes........I here offer 4 of her appealing works.....Very good condition
